Telescopic Sheet Metal Handling

FT10 Series Telescopic Vacuum Lifters

Adjustable vacuum lifters for the safe and controlled horizontal handling
of small, medium and large-format metal sheets.

The FT10 Series features an extendable supporting frame that can be
adjusted to suit different sheet dimensions. Its telescopic structure
provides a gripping length of up to 5,000 mm while remaining compact
when handling smaller sheets.

Models are available with lifting capacities of 800 kg, 2,000 kg and
3,000 kg, together with electric, compressed-air or battery-powered
vacuum generation.

One adjustable lifting system for manufacturers and fabricators handling
a wide range of sheet sizes.

Adjustable Lifting System

Designed for Changing Sheet Dimensions

Sheet-processing facilities frequently work with materials of
different lengths, widths and weights. A fixed-size lifter may be
unnecessarily large for smaller sheets or may not provide sufficient
gripping coverage for oversized materials.

The FT10 supporting frame can be extended or retracted to match the
dimensions of the sheet being handled. This allows the suction plates
to be distributed across different formats while reducing the overall
footprint when the additional length is not required.

The adjustable arrangement provides greater flexibility for production
environments handling a changing mix of sheet sizes.

Suitable Sheet Materials

Designed for clean, flat and non-porous sheet materials, subject to
an assessment of the application.

Carbon steel sheets and plates

Stainless-steel sheets

Aluminium sheets

Other flat non-ferrous materials

Large-format metal panels

Flat sheets with suitable surface conditions

Key Product Features

Flexible Handling for Small and Large Sheets

The FT10 combines a telescopic supporting structure, multiple capacity
options and a choice of vacuum power systems for demanding sheet-metal
operations.

01

Telescopic Supporting Frame

The main supporting structure extends and retracts to suit different
sheet dimensions and operating requirements.

02

Up to 5,000 mm Gripping Length

The extended configuration provides broad gripping coverage for
longer and larger-format sheets.

03

Compact Retracted Size

When the full gripping length is not required, the frame retracts
to reduce the overall size of the lifting equipment.

04

Multiple Capacity Options

Available configurations include maximum lifting capacities of
800 kg, 2,000 kg and 3,000 kg.

05

Three Vacuum Power Systems

Choose electric, compressed-air or battery-powered vacuum generation
to suit the working environment.

06

Stable Horizontal Handling

The adjustable frame and distributed suction plates support
controlled horizontal lifting, movement and positioning.

Sheet Formats

Designed for a Broad Range of Sheet Sizes

The telescopic structure allows the FT10 Series to handle both standard
and large-format sheet materials.

3,000 × 1,500 mm

Standard sheet format

4,000 × 2,000 mm

Large sheet format

6,000 × 2,500 mm

Extra-large sheet format

Industrial Applications

Where the FT10 Series Can Be Used

The FT10 range is intended for environments where metal sheets must
be lifted from storage, transferred through production or positioned
onto processing equipment.

Steel service centres and stockholding facilities

Sheet-metal fabrication workshops

Laser-cutting machine loading and unloading

Plasma-cutting and profiling operations

Large-format sheet-metal manufacturing

Production-line material transfer

Operational Advantages

One Lifter for Different Sheet Formats

The principal benefit of the FT10 Series is its ability to accommodate
a broad range of sheet dimensions. The frame extends for longer sheets
and retracts when handling smaller material.

This flexibility can reduce the need for separate fixed-frame lifters
for every sheet size while helping keep the equipment compact during
operation and storage.

The appropriate capacity, suction-plate arrangement and power
configuration should be selected according to the material,
dimensions, weight, surface condition and handling process.

Selecting the Correct FT10 Configuration

Vacuum-lifter selection should not be based on load weight alone.
Sheet dimensions, thickness, surface condition, porosity, centre of
gravity, required handling cycle and available power supply must also
be considered.

Provide the minimum and maximum sheet dimensions, material type,
maximum weight and details of the intended lifting process when
requesting a quotation. This allows the appropriate capacity,
frame configuration and vacuum supply to be assessed.
