What Is a High-Lift Scissor Table?

A high-lift scissor table uses two or more scissor mechanisms stacked vertically to provide a greater lifting height than a standard single-scissor table. The multi-stage arrangement raises loads between different working levels while maintaining a compact footprint.

These tables can be engineered for vertical goods transfer, elevated work positioning, pallet handling and other applications where long lift travel is required without installing a conventional lift shaft.

Greater Lift Height

Provides extended vertical travel for multi-level handling requirements.

Stable Movement

Rigid multi-scissor construction supports controlled vertical lifting.

Application-Specific

Capacity, platform and travel can be configured around the load and site.

System Integration

Suitable for standalone use or integration into material-flow systems.

Technical Overview

High-Lift Table Configuration

High-lift tables are selected according to the load, required travel, platform dimensions, duty cycle and installation environment.

Feature Typical Available Configuration
Lifting capacity Up to 5,000 kg, depending on model and configuration
Vertical travel Multiple metres, according to the number and geometry of scissor stages
Platform Standard, extended or custom-fabricated platform
Installation Surface-mounted or pit-recessed
Operation Electro-hydraulic control system
Safety arrangement Specified for the application and may include guarding, gates, emergency stops and overload protection

Final capacity, platform dimensions, lift height and safety provisions are confirmed following an application and site assessment.

Typical Uses

Applications for High-Lift Scissor Tables

Designed for controlled vertical movement in manufacturing, warehousing and commercial facilities.

01

Vertical Goods Transfer

Move palletised goods or materials between different working levels.

02

Mezzanine Loading

Support controlled loading and unloading at mezzanine or raised-floor levels.

03

Elevated Work Positioning

Position loads or properly designed work platforms at elevated levels.

04

Pallet Handling

Raise and lower pallets where longer vertical travel is required.

05

Production Integration

Connect processes operating at different heights within a production area.

06

Warehouse Operations

Improve vertical material flow in storage and distribution environments.
